The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for the care and safety of patients, assisting with case preparation and patient readiness. They also handle instruments and prepare the room based on the procedure and physician's preferences.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for graduates of an accredited surgical technology program. One year of experience in a procedural or operating room is preferred, along with a Basic Life Support certification.
The Endoscopy Technician, under the guidance of the registered nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of patients under his/her care. The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for case preparation, assisting with patient preparation, proper handling of instruments supplies and equipment, preparation of the room based upon the specific procedure and physician's preference, and anticipating the physician's needs.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Other Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology Preferred

This position is full time endoscopy technician 10 hours 7:30am to 6:00pm, 40 hours per week. Call requirement.
