The Certified Medical Assistant assists in providing clinical care to patients and manages the provider's daily schedule to maximize clinical time. They also prepare exam rooms, take vital signs, and support clinicians with procedures while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
Candidates must have a Medical Assistant Certification and completion of a post-secondary medical assisting program. Strong interpersonal skills and a minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting are preferred.
