The Medical Assistant is responsible for a variety of patient care functions under the direction of physicians and mid-level providers. Duties include greeting patients, obtaining vital signs, maintaining a safe environment, and performing additional assigned tasks.
Candidates must have a diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant certifications/experience. At least one year of experience in direct patient care may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
