The Special Procedures Tech assists the Physician during interventional radiological procedures and coordinates daily activities within the Interventional Radiology Department. They also perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and maintain a sterile environment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of experience as a Radiology Technician, and a NJ Diagnostic Radiology License. Additional certifications such as ARRT and BLS are required, with a preference for experience in Interventional or Cath lab.
