PCTs will perform patient care and treatments under the supervision of an RN, including activities of daily living and mobility assistance. They are also responsible for documenting care and improving the quality of care and patient safety.
Candidates must have an active CNA certification and a minimum of six months of hospital experience. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are also required for potential travel between campuses.
PCTs will perform patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN. Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN. Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients. Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule. Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service. Team members under the age of 18 may not independently operate mechanical lift equipment.
License(s)/Certification(s): CNA certification required Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
