The Physician Assistant provides comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses for a diverse patient population. They are also responsible for documenting patient care, performing physical exams, and participating in community health initiatives and quality assurance projects.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and hold a valid license in the State of Vermont. A relevant national certification and a DEA license are required, along with experience in a primary care medical practice setting.
The Advanced Practice Provider provides comprehensive, high-quality primary care services to a diverse patient population, particularly in underserved communities. This includes diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and educating patients on health management.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
