The LPN assists providers in the delivery of healthcare by performing patient assessments, administering injections, and monitoring intravenous fluids. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical supplies, documenting patient information, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited practical nurse program and hold a valid South Carolina LPN or RN license. BCLS certification is required, and the role requires the ability to perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy and patient assessments.
The nurse, under the supervision of the nurse manager and/or clinical coordinator, is responsible for assisting the provider in the delivery of health care and patient care management.
