The counselor will provide direct resident care, monitor behaviors, and facilitate group therapy sessions within a residential mental health setting. They are also responsible for documenting resident notes, supervising meals, and communicating with the treatment team.
A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must possess current CPR certification and knowledge of psychiatric group processes and crisis management.
