The Physician Assistant performs diagnostic and therapeutic tests, obtains patient medical histories, and assists in patient management. Responsibilities also include prescribing medications, performing minor surgical procedures, and counseling patients.
Candidates must have a BS Degree in an accredited Physician Assistant Program and at least three years of experience. They must also be licensed and registered as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
