The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions for communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders. This role also requires maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient independence.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and have completed a Clinical Fellowship Year, along with current state licensure as an SLP and BLS certification. One year of experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting is preferred.
Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required. Licenses/Certifications Current licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in applicable state Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within time frame required by facility policy Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred VitalStim certification preferred. Experience One (1) year of experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting preferred
