The Sterile Processing Assistant will play an integral part of supporting our hospital by ensuring surgical instruments are properly prepared, sterilized, and organized for a wide range of emergency and specialty procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience working with sterile processing and knowledge of Medical/Surgical instruments in either human or veterinary medicine preferred.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks, with strong communication skills.
Essential Responsibilities
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments
Prepare instrument packs and specialized trays for scheduled and emergency procedures
Uphold strict aseptic techniques and hospital-wide biosecurity policies
Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
