The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care and leads the health care team by utilizing the nursing process to ensure quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective discharge planning.
Candidates must have at least one year of recent full-time equivalent experience in a Critical Care, DOU, or SDU setting. Required certifications include a California Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and completion of Basic Arrhythmia and Ventilator training courses.
As the leader of the health care team, provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Demonstrates performance consistent with the Medical Center Vision, Mission, and Strategic Plan of the organization. Remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats co-workers, patients, families, and all members of the health care team with dignity and respect.
N/A Notes: If twelve (12) hour option chosen, shift will be 7:00 pm-7:30 am, back up 8 hour shift will be 2300 to 1930
