The caregiver provides physical and emotional support to clients, including personal care, housekeeping, and companionship. They are also responsible for administering medications and maintaining accurate medication records as a Certified Medication Technician.
Candidates must hold a valid Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification, CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid driver's license. Physical ability to perform transfers and lift clients using adaptive equipment is required.
This position will have weekday and weekend openings.
Our Caregiver's are responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to illness, injury or disability.
Caregiver's must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. You will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.

Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, medication reminders, run errands or provide transportation if needed. Accompany clients to appointments, prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, manual feeding, transferring, re-positioning, catheter maintenance and grooming. Provide any financial aid if needed such as going to the bank or helping the client to pay their bills.
Companionship – Have stimulating conversations, encouraging client's to be more independent with life skills and participating in their hobbies. Motivating our clients to participate in ROM exercises daily and healthy lifestyles.
Medication Administration (CMT Duties) – Administer prescribed medications in accordance with Registered Nurse delegation and within the scope of practice for a Certified Medication Technician (CMT). Properly document all medications given, and maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MAR). Observe and report any side effects, adverse reactions, or changes in client condition to the appropriate supervisor. Ensure medications are stored safely and assist with medication setup when required, while adhering to all state regulations and company policies.

Valid Driver's License or Government ID Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate Must be able to complete and pass a Criminal Background check. TB Test/PPD or X-Ray within the past year (X-Ray 5 years) Physical endurance to transfer, re-position, and lift a client via Hoyer Lift or manually Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time. Experience using a Manual or Mechanical Hoyer Lift, motorized wheelchair, and other adaptive equipment is preferred

Schedule: Morning shifts available 7 days a week (We do not offer overnight shifts at this time)
