Perform diagnostic radiography procedures using complex imaging equipment according to established protocols. Handle on-call responsibilities and provide services across various satellite facilities and hospitals within the regional team.
Must be a graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology with at least two years of diagnostic experience. Required certifications include ARRT and BLS or CPR, along with various state and federal clearances.
Perform diagnostic radiography procedures using established protocols/procedures without requiring constant supervision. Utilize complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, manipulation, and documentation of image data, completing procedures according to protocol. Demonstrate the ability to function independently, cover off shifts, handle on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, while continually communicating with the lead and management team. Perform or assist Clinical Specialists in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives.
Educational and Knowledge Requirements Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology. Two years of diagnostic experience required. Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on the most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
