About the Role

• The Mammography Technician plays a critical role in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases by performing high-quality mammographic imaging procedures.
• This position requires the technician to operate specialized imaging equipment to capture detailed breast images while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
• The technician collaborates closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to provide accurate imaging that supports effective diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards are essential to maintain image quality and patient confidentiality.
• Ultimately, the Mammography Technician contributes significantly to improving patient outcomes through precise imaging and compassionate care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program with a focus on mammography.
• Certification as a Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
• Valid state licensure to perform mammography procedures in the United States.
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety and patient care standards.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a clinical or hospital setting performing mammography exams.
• Additional certifications in breast imaging or related diagnostic modalities.
