The Infection Preventionist coordinates infectious disease surveillance activities in accordance with the Infection Control Committee and CDC NHSN guidelines. The role involves influencing healthcare worker behavior and maintaining high standards of customer service within the hospital environment.
Candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or a compact state and possess at least 2 years of acute care nursing experience. Experience in infection prevention and control is preferred, along with proficiency in internal databases and office software.
