The Certified Pharmacy Technician supports the pharmacy department by preparing and distributing medications and IV solutions under the supervision of a pharmacist. Responsibilities include restocking anesthesia drug boxes, compounding sterile products, and maintaining accurate patient medication histories in the electronic health record.
Candidates must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) registered with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and possess at least one year of inpatient hospital experience. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with proficiency in medical terminology and medication management systems.
