The Licensed Vocational Nurse administers skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to physician orders and a plan of care. They also collaborate with the Registered Nurse to evaluate patient status and provide education to patients and their families.
Candidates must be a licensed vocational nurse with at least one year of nursing experience and a valid driver's license. A high school diploma or GED and a graduate degree from a state-approved school of practical nursing are required.
