The Endoscopy Technician assists physicians and nurses with patient care procedures and maintains a safe, efficient environment in the surgery department. They are responsible for the cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopic equipment and supplies.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, with additional certifications like CET or ACET preferred.
