Assist in pre and post catheterization patient care, including sheath removal, vital sign monitoring, and patient preparation. Manage inventory levels and restock procedure suites while providing support across the department.
Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and 1-3 years of direct patient care or hospital experience. Preferred qualifications include Nurse Aide certification, BLS certification, and proficiency in sterile techniques.
Assist in pre and post catheterization patient care. Direct "hands on" care includes arterial/venous sheath removal, vital sign monitoring/measurement, preparing patients for procedures, assisting with admissions/discharges, and point of care testing. Accountable for Inventory management to include stock assessments and restocking procedure suites and pre/post unit. Cross-trained to provide support throughout the department in multiple duties which include a limited role during emergency situations. Good interpersonal skills. Flexible personality essential
1-3 years direct patient care or hospital experience. Monitoring, measurement, and documentation of vital signs
Sterile technique. Computer skills. Inventory management.
High school or G.E.D
Preferred: Nurse’s Aide training or Student Nurse
License and Credentials
Nurse Aide certification. BLS certification.
Preferred: Obtain and monitor vital signs
Preferred: EKG and or phlebotomy certification
Bi-Weekly Hours: 80
Monday to Friday, no weekends, no holidays. Varying 8 hours day shifts.
The minimum starting rate for this position is $17.14
