Candidates must possess a master's degree in a related field and hold or be pursuing licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona, with supervision available for associate licenses. Experience in mental health counseling, dependability, punctuality, and professional communication are essential qualifications.
Description SMHWI is a high-end mental health clinic with offices in Scottsdale, Tempe and Glendale, Arizona. We offer traditional and innovative Psychiatric services that include Psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy, as well as TMS and IV Ketamine for treatment of depression. SMHWI is looking for enthusiastic, high-energy, motivated Licensed Therapist/Counselor with IOP experience (associate licensed LMSW or LAC with clinical supervision available by LCSW on AZBBHE supervisor registry) or independently licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) to join our team. Interested candidates must be willing to work between our 3 locations and must have experience, be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally. Opportunities to join a team of like-minded people who are at the forefront of mental health do not come often.
Assessment and Treatment Planning: Therapists assess clients' mental health needs, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Crisis Intervention: Respond to and manage crises that may arise during therapy sessions or in the community, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any other required documentation.
Education: A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
Must be a Licensed Professional Counselor or mental health professional in AZ. Will consider associate licensed (LMSW or LAC with clinical supervision available by LCSW on AZBBHE supervisor registry) or independently licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
Previous experience in mental health counseling, especially in an intensive outpatient setting, is preferred.
