The Professional Staff Nurse will manage patient activities, formulate holistic care plans, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality outcomes. They are also responsible for participating in quality improvement efforts and providing education to patients and families.
Candidates must hold a current RN licensure or Temporary Practice Permit and obtain BLS or CPR certification within 30 days of hire. A minimum of six months of experience and a BSN degree are preferred.
Participate in quality improvement efforts and use evidence-based practices. Build positive relationships with all team members and patients. Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment in patient care. Teach and support patients, families, students, and new staff. Formulate holistic care plans and assist physicians. Communicate effectively and document patient care comprehensively. Engage in professional development and shared governance. Adapt to change and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
