The Certified Medical Assistant performs clinical and administrative tasks to support efficient office operations and patient care. Responsibilities include assisting with examinations, recording vital signs, administering medications, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. A current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) plays a vital role in delivering quality patient care under the supervision of healthcare providers in a medical office setting. The CMA is responsible for performing clinical and administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the office, ensuring compassionate and effective service to patients. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Certified Medical Assistant contributes to the overall patient experience and supports the medical team in delivering exceptional healthcare services
