Responsibilities

Allen Hospital Shift duration varies Staffing Model: Physician coverage 40 hours daily, APP coverage 36 hours daily Physician: 0700-1600, 1000-2000, 1500-2400 and 1900-0700 APP: 0600-1800, 1800-0600 and 1200-2400 Variety of shifts per day 204 bed Hospital with access to all specialties 31 Bed ED Level 3 Trauma Center 2-dedicated trauma rooms 5 bed restricted access behavioral health area Designated primary stroke center Average 98 ED visits daily, 36,000 annually Marshalltown Hospital Shift duration: 12 hours Staffing Model: Physician coverage 24 hours daily, APP coverage 24 hours daily Physician: 0800-2000 and 2000-0800 APP: 1000-2200 and 1200-2400 70 Bed Hospital 16 Bed ED including 4 ligature safe rooms for behavioral health patients Level 4 Trauma Center Average 55 ED visits daily Hospital based ambulance service On call- specialties include Surgery, Ortho, and Podiatry RT available 24/7 Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Board Certified Experience preferred Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice Eligible to work in the United States
