Radiologic Technologists are responsible for administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes and performing a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. They ensure patient safety and compliance with regulations while preparing and documenting activities related to medications and radiation exposure.
Candidates must graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology and obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire. A minimum of 1 year of related work experience is preferred, along with Basic Life Support Certification.
New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of the date of hire. Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, must complete steps required for advancing to level 2 within 24 months.
