The Overnight Counselor oversees the health and welfare of residents in a substance abuse program, providing clinical support and crisis intervention. They are responsible for maintaining accurate clinical documentation, conducting safety checks, and managing the daily house schedule.
Candidates must hold a CASAC-T or CASAC certification and possess at least one year of experience working with substance abuse and mental health populations. Strong organizational and communication skills are required to effectively manage client populations and collaborate with the treatment team.

Position: Overnight Counselor
The Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC) is responsible for overseeing the health and welfare of all residents in the program, support and clinical services to a population of chemically dependent clients with co-occurring and mental health problems. The SAC serves as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
This is a full-time non-exempt position.
This job operates in a professional office environment and outside in the field. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is an awake overnight position.
