The Radiology Technologist will assist providers in Interventional Radiology procedures by utilizing advanced knowledge of anatomy, sterile techniques, and physiologic monitoring. The role involves operating specialized imaging equipment and managing embolic and thrombolytic materials during complex vascular interventions.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a Radiographer license, ARRT registration, and BLS/ACLS certifications, along with at least two years of relevant experience. The position requires living within 30 minutes of the facility and the ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Call requirement: 1-2 times a week and 1-2 weekends a month totaling about 10 call shifts a month

Required: Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin, and Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.
Education
Required: Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Radiologic Technology.
Experience
Required: Typically requires 2 years of experience in an Interventional Radiologic Technologist role.

Advanced knowledge of embolic and thrombolytic materials, physiologic monitoring equipment, and surgical scrub technique to be able to assist the provider.
