The In-Home Care Attendant assists individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation within the consumer's home. They are also responsible for monitoring the consumer's well-being, reporting incidents, and providing supportive companionship.
Candidates must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting over 50 pounds, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Upon hiring, the individual is required to complete caregiver training approved by Medicaid.

The In-Home Care Attendant assists individuals who have difficulty performing basic day-to-day activities, for example, the elderly, people with disabilities, or people suffering from chronic, or intellectual disabilities in a safe and compliant manner to provide a sense of independence in the consumer's residence.
