The Pharmacy Technician II performs specialized pharmacy functions including sterile compounding, controlled substance oversight, and medication history collection. They also contribute to pharmacy projects, train new staff, and maintain equipment and supplies.
Candidates must be registered with the NC Board of Pharmacy and hold a Certified Pharmacy Technician credential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least 3 years of hospital or specialty pharmacy experience.
