The Direct Support Professional assists individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities with daily living tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care. They are also responsible for transporting clients, maintaining schedules, and completing daily documentation in the electronic health system.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and reliable transportation with current auto insurance. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn electronic health record systems.
