RESEARCH SPECIALIST, Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, Arthritis Autoimmune Disease Center

• We are seeking highly motivated, well-trained individuals interested in bench and translational research in tissue injury and pulmonary fibrosis.
• The successful candidate will work in a highly collaborative, collegial, multidisciplinary research environment using complementary imaging, molecular, and metabolic approaches.
• The candidate will work with patient cell/tissue samples in conjunction with animal models of lung disease.
• The candidate will independently perform established laboratory procedures and contribute to the execution and troubleshooting of experimental workflows in support of laboratory goals and grant commitments.
• Responsibilities include maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, organizing and managing research data, and working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• The candidate will present findings at laboratory meetings and contribute to manuscript preparation.
