The physician will perform orthopedic surgeries and provide care across the full musculoskeletal continuum, including reconstruction and sports medicine. They will work within a high-volume practice environment across multiple clinic locations.
Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with a strong preference for fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction or Total Joints. A clear and active medical license in the respective state is required.
The Orthopedic Institute is seeking an Orthopaedic Total Joint/Adult Reconstructive Surgeon to join our practice based in our Ocala offices. TOI has an established 40+ year legacy practice with 9 clinic locations across Florida, 6 Express Ortho urgent care sites driving same- and next-day access and 45+ physicians across multiple subspecialties. Our physicians practice across the full musculoskeletal continuum including sports medicine, spine, trauma, reconstruction, interventional pain, and more. Our robust infrastructure allows surgeons to operate at the top of their license.

EDUCATION and LICENSURE: Board certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Strong preference for fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction, Total Joints, or Hip and Knee Clear and active license in the respective state (or willingness to obtain state license) EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes demanding environment. Experience with a wide range of medical conditions Strong triage and multitasking
Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
Requires occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds unassisted. Requires frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
