This role involves providing patient care services, cleaning, maintaining, and stocking supplies and equipment while strictly applying standard precautions and infection control principles. The Technical Assistant receives delegated assignments from the RN, accesses patient status data, and performs clerical, phlebotomy, and safety attendant duties as assigned.
A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, along with one year of relevant or previous healthcare experience. Candidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and preferred skills include phlebotomy and medical terminology.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
1 year of relevant experience preferred. Previous healthcare experience preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.
