The phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood and culture samples from diverse patient populations using aseptic techniques. They also assist with specimen processing, billing, registration, and maintaining laboratory supplies.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and the ability to understand laboratory testing requirements. The role requires obtaining National Certification for Phlebotomists within two years and maintaining current CPR certification.
