The occupational therapist evaluates and treats patients using standard procedures to enhance motor, sensory, and cognitive skills. They also collaborate with physicians to establish therapy goals and oversee the work of assistants, aides, and students.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and possess a current license to practice in the State of Michigan. One year of clinical experience is preferred, along with NBCOT certification or eligibility.
