Technician, Monitor - Central Monitoring - Mullica Hill - PT -6:45pm-7:15am

Major function

Non-licensed person responsible for continuously observing and interpreting patients’ cardiac rhythms (EKG/ECG) and ensuring appropriate and timely alerts / responses to any alarms. Maintains and reports data in a timely manner. Assists in various clerical and communication functions on the nursing unit. Must be knowledgeable of the policies and procedures of the unit & health system.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: High School graduate or equivalent. Previous monitor tech experience preferred. Certification/Licensure: Certified Telemetry Technician certification preferred. Successful Dysrhythmia course completion required. Knowledge & Skills: Able to read, write and speak English.
