Job Description

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provides spiritual care to patients and families, including assessment and documentation in the patient's medical record. Fulfills the ACPE CPE program requirements, including, but not limited to, those outlined in the CPE Handbook and the appropriate ACPE CPE Outcomes. Participates in interdisciplinary rounds and coordinates spiritual care with other members of the healthcare team. Provides response to emergency spiritual care needs as an on-call chaplain. Provides emotional and spiritual support to hospital employees. Complies with departmental policies, procedures, and record keeping. EDUCATION: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Bachelor's Applicant must be accepted in the Sutter ACPE CPE program Applicant must maintain concurrent enrollment with ACPE as a CPE Student Job Shift: Days Schedule: Short Hour Shift Hours: 8 Days of the Week: Variable Weekend Requirements: None Benefits: No Unions: No Position Status: Non-Exempt Weekly Hours: 12 Employee Status: Short Hour Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
