The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide professional, patient-family centered care for a variety of surgical patients. They are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while documenting education and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Candidates must hold an Associate degree in Nursing and a valid Michigan RN license, with a Bachelor's degree required within 5 years. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and at least one year of acute care experience is necessary for graduates from non-accredited nursing schools.
