The Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing assessments in a hospital setting. They will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain accurate electronic health records.
Candidates must hold a current, active LPN license and have at least one year of recent hospital experience. A current BLS certification is also required for this position.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in accordance with established policies, procedures, and scope of practice. Key Responsibilities: · Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician · Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions accurately · Administer medications and treatments as prescribed · Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes to the RN or physician · Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers · Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care · Provide patient and family education and emotional support · Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) · Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
