Clinical Social Worker 2 - Pediatric

Location

Emergency Department / Inpatient The Clinical Social Worker II or Clinical Social Worker III’s (LCSW) primary responsibilities are psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, brief therapeutic interventions, consultation, education, community linkages, supportive services, and facilitate the plan of care through the health care continuum for patients, families, and staff, with particular focus on high-risk populations. The CSWII/III acts as a consultant to the clinical team, service lines and other departments and participates in program development and quality improvement initiatives. The Clinical Social Worker II/III will provide therapeutic support to patients and their families followed by UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital – Oakland.
