The Telemonitor Technician is responsible for continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and interpreting rhythm strips according to nursing standards. They must also maintain telemetry logs, manage equipment inventory, and notify staff of any rhythm changes or lethal cardiac events.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED, or have 10 years of relevant work experience. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and maintaining constant alertness in a clinical environment.
