Job Summary As a member of the nursing team with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount.
You'll be responsible for the care of our patients according to their individual plans, unit routines, and hospital policies.
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Essential Functions Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with policies and procedures of the unit.
Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.
Documents care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines.
Maintains patients’ environment/work area/equipment, and communicates any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel.
Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours.
Participation in select unit quality monitoring activities under the direction of the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.
