The Registered Nurse will continuously assess resident needs, update care plans, administer medications, and oversee nurse aides in delivering person-centered care. Key duties also involve serving as a consultant, acting as Unit Manager when needed, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and organizational values.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, along with three to six months of related experience or equivalent education. Required qualifications include a current Registered Nurse license, current CPR Certification, and knowledge of relevant federal, state, and JCAHO regulations.

As a RN, you’ll be a trusted partner in delivering person-centered care to our residents. You’ll ensure they feel safe, supported, and empowered—making every day brighter for them and for you.
Resident Care · Continuously assesses resident needs and updates care plans accordingly. · Administers medications and treatments per physician orders. · Assigns and oversees resident care tasks for nurse aides. · Communicates and documents resident conditions, care plans, and treatment responses. · Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and meal service. · Coordinates restorative and rehabilitative care.
Management & Leadership · Serves as a consultant for LPNs and nurse aides. · Maintains positive relationships with residents, families, and visitors. · Ensures adherence to lifting programs and unit routines. · Acts as Unit Manager or Charge Nurse when needed. · Upholds the organization’s mission and values.
Nursing & Clinical Responsibilities · Follows infection control practices and performs IV therapy. · Responds to emergency situations according to nursing protocols. · Reports and documents incidents and unsafe conditions. · Engages in quality improvement initiatives.
Professional Development & Performance · Maintains clinical competency and certifications. · Participates in educational opportunities and continuous learning. · Adheres to federal, state, and organizational regulations. · Upholds professionalism in appearance, behavior, and teamwork.

Requirements: Qualifications You Bring:
· Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of federal, state, and JCAHO regulations/standards.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Excellent interpersonal relations and leadership skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of supervisors, residents, families, staff, and the general public.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
· Current Registered Nurse license; current CPR Certification
