Provide a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider, or registered nurse. Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT). BCLS certification is required, and candidates may substitute formal education with one year of related clinical experience.
