The pharmacist provides clinical pharmaceutical care, verifies medication orders, and ensures safe and effective pharmacotherapy for patients. They also oversee pharmacy technicians and interns while serving as a clinical resource for the healthcare team.
Candidates must hold a Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D or Bachelor of Pharmacy) from an accredited school. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of employment, along with appropriate state licensure.
