The Staff Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and immunizations within a clinic setting. They also act as a patient advocate, manage clinical tasks, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary health team to ensure high standards of care.
Candidates must hold a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Oklahoma. Strong clinical, teaching, and leadership skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
Staff Nurse - PRN
This is a safety sensitive position. The Staff Nurse is an integral member of the interdisciplinary health team and assumes responsibility for the standard of nursing care delivery in the clinic setting. PRN nurses are required to work a minimum of 24 hours per month based on clinic operational needs. Failure to meet this requirement may impact continued PRN status.

A. Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Oklahoma, in good standing.
B. Experience in ambulatory care preferred
C. Possess strong clinical and teaching skills.
D. Able to assume a leadership role in a team environment.

5. Responsible to: Director of Nursing
A. Proactively assumes the responsibility for the standard of nursing care delivery and customer service in the clinical areas.
C. Knowledgeable of the scope of practice for all nursing disciplines as described by the Nurse Practice Act.
D. Able to effectively plan, oversee, direct, and evaluate all nursing activities in the clinical area. Appropriately delegates tasks to team members to maximize resources.
E. Effectively manages completion of routine clinic tasks. Establishes methods to ensure consistency in maintaining emergency supplies, stock medications, vaccines, forms, sterile instrument inventory, equipment, appropriate exam room inventory, etc.
H. Able to act as a primary resource in emergency situations.
