The Physical Therapist Assistant will implement patient care plans developed by the Physical Therapist and facilitate patient progress through treatment. They will also collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure patient goals are met.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and hold an active PTA license in the state of practice. Familiarity with Medicare billing regulations and experience with the geriatric population are preferred.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Key Rehab, you will: Implement Care Plans: Execute the patient care plan developed by the Physical Therapist (PT), ensuring adherence to established protocols. Advance Patient Progress: Facilitate patient advancement through their treatment plan, making adjustments as directed by the PT to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care, ensuring the achievement of individual goals.
Accredited Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Active Licensure: Current PTA license in the state of practice. Ethical Compliance: Adherence to Key Rehab’s Code of Ethical Conduct, as well as state and federal regulations.
Strong Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to efficiently manage tasks and address challenges with effective solutions. Flexibility and Team Collaboration: Adaptable to changing situations and committed to working seamlessly within a team environment. Exceptional Communication: Outstanding oral and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with patients and colleagues. Experience with Geriatric Population: Prior experience working with elderly patients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs. Knowledge of Medicare Billing Regulations: Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.
