The technician performs nerve conduction studies and assists physicians with electromyograms in a clinical setting. They are also responsible for maintaining patient data, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the laboratory environment remains safe and orderly.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, or have 10 years of relevant work experience. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is required.
