The Medical Assistant will manage patient messages, prioritize calls, and ensure the daily schedule is booked appropriately. They are also responsible for preparing patients for visits by recording vital signs, taking medical histories, and performing medication reconciliation.
Candidates must hold a Medical Assisting program certificate, EMT license, or CNA license, along with current CPR certification. Experience with EMR systems and previous work in a clinical setting is required.

As the MA, you will be responsible for managing various types of messages, prioritizing calls, and assuring that the daily schedule are booked appropriately, or if necessary, referring patients to emergency services. MAs work in a collaborative environment in a team setting and support the needs of the organization by filling in where necessary. Duties also include, but are not limited to, preparing patients for the office visit by getting accurate vital signs, taking a history, doing medication reconciliation and reviewing allergies.
