The Clinical Nurse is responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments and procedures, and documenting care according to policy and regulations. This role also involves assessing patient needs, evaluating responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment, and collaborating on the Plan of Care.
The role requires contributing to a compassionate environment, executing physician orders, managing patient care through assessment and evaluation, and directing ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards. The position is part-time (FTE 0.9, 36 hours/week) on the night shift with weekend and holiday commitments.
$83,200.00 - $93,184.00 The clinical Nurse contributes to the creation of a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families and colleagues through displays of kindness and active listening. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered. Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions. Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered. Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients. Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
